SaaS/Cloud Computing Firm: Greenhouse Gas Analysis and Environmental Disclosure

A major global cloud computing company needed a utility management solution to help them gain insight into their carbon footprint through a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory. With 61 offices and data centers across the globe, the standardization, analysis, and verification of data would be a complex and time consuming task.

FCS stepped in to conduct a number of consultations with the client’s San Francisco-based sustainability team to determine the scope of the project and the best plan to capture and analyze the GHG data. Our team formulated an appropriate plan that mapped to the client’s required management process workflow—across 13 countries.

Our team provided full insight into the client’s GHG inventory that allowed management to make informed decisions and identify potential avenues to reduce GHG and waste. FCS also assisted the client in completing their GHG Inventory requirement on time for their CDP response. With our years of scoring experience, we also helped the client better understand the nuances of their CDP submittal.
