Arborist Report for Multifamily Housing Project

FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS) provided arboriculture services for a multifamily housing project to support the construction of a residential development located in Santa Rosa, California. The project proposed to develop 1,464 affordable housing units across 20 residential buildings, along with various amenities such as a recreation center, swimming pool, and commercial space. FCS was tasked with conducting a comprehensive tree assessment and subsequent arborist report to identify and evaluate trees within the project site and off-site improvement areas. The assessment was performed by Hannah Carney, an ISA Certified Arborist, and included a detailed visual inspection of each tree, identification of tree species, measurement of trunk diameters, and general evaluation of tree health and structural integrity.

The arborist report includes survey methodology, identification of tree species recorded on-site, tree locations, County protection determination, descriptions of tree conditions or other observations, and potential impacts. To minimize impacts, the arborist report provided recommendations for tree protection measures during construction and maintenance guidelines for preserved trees. The project highlights FCS's expertise in arboriculture services, environmental management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the successful integration of development with the preservation of natural resources.
