Karlee McCracken is an experienced Senior GIS Manager with over 24 years of expertise in GIS and graphic design, having joined FCS in 2001. She specializes in creating mapping standards for daily production and has extensive experience in vegetation mapping, delineating Waters of the US and the State, Critical Habitat mapping, and California Natural Diversity Database mapping. Her skills also encompass spatial analysis for estimating environmental impacts, CAD data analysis, and field data collection. In her role, she oversees the production of high-quality, cartographically pleasing maps, consults with project managers and teams to integrate GIS data, and ensures data integrity and consistency across GIS workflows. Ms. McCracken also excels in supervising and guiding her team, maintaining GIS databases, resolving technical issues, and staying abreast of GIS technology trends. Her proficiency spans a range of tools, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, CorelDraw, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Google Earth Pro. With additional expertise in graphic design, photo manipulation, and layout design, Ms. McCracken brings technical leadership, strategic planning, and quality assurance to every GIS initiative she manages.
