Jason Brandman

Director/Vice President, Environmental Services

Jason is an experienced Project Director specializing in planning, Environmental Impact Assessment, and public policy analysis, with an in-depth understanding of hillside residential development issues.

He has more than 33 years of experience with the management of, and analyses for, EIRs, EISs, Environmental Assessments (EAs), Mitigated Negative Declarations (MNDs), Specific Plans, water resource evaluations, and hazardous materials studies. He has worked on a wide range of projects, including downtown revitalization plans, major mixed-use developments, large-/small-scale residential developments, regional transportation corridor and utility transmission line studies, commercial developments, and industrial developments. His experience has included state correctional facilities and site-specific hazardous materials investigations. Jason is known industry-wide as an expert in studies for land use, aesthetic analysis, transportation/circulation, geology, hydrology, public services, utilities, and cultural resources.

As a recognized leader in his field, he has worked on a wide range of complex and controversial projects including: downtown revitalization plans, major mixed-use developments, large to small scale residential developments, regional transportation corridor and utility transmission line studies, and commercial and industrial developments. An active speaker at seminars and conferences, Jason regularly provides informative presentations to public agencies, private organizations and the public at large.

Jason earned his Bachelor's degree in Urban Geography from California State University, Fullerton.
